Desci o asfalto e aos prantos dancei em sua avenida. Ladeada por uma imensidão de mar e de gente de corpos bronzeados. Foi aqui que encontrei uma espécie de nômades familiares com os quais esbarro nas areias, nos bares, nas esquinas. Fui até Madureira pra conhecer o rio azul e branco de poesia dos mestres. Atravessei a cidade pra brincar no confete da vermelho e branco da Tijuca. Fiquei até o amanhecer na Lapa de grafites neon com toda a sorte de diversidade. Ouvi o ecoar de tambores, chorei com a cuíca, e sorri com o repique de pandeiros e batucar de tamborins. O ritmo de bambas me fez mais feliz em Lá maior. Nessa terra de altíssimos lustres, olho o mar que invade o Vidigal e vai até a África passando pela Niemeyer. Ao sair do Joá, vejo o Dois Irmãos ladeado pela orla. Agradeço por me ser permitido me apoderar desse lugar. Eu carioco, tu cariocas e eles deveriam cariocar pelo menos uma vez na vida.
